The beginner-friendly Rossignol Evader Snowboard can help you avoid some of the common pitfalls first-timers make when selecting their first board because it’s built to a higher standard than most of the competition. Sure it’s easy to ride like all the rest, with a forgiving Amptec Auto-Turn Profile that’s mostly rocker, allowing for a catch-free ride while the directional twin shape makes it a bit easier to figure out if you prefer regular or goofy. But unlike the other boards on the rack the Evader features a directional flex, making the nose of the board softer for smoother performance in difficult conditions, and a stiffer tail that drives you out of carves once you start linking your turns. So pick this one up if you’re looking go learn, and then keep honing your skills after you’ve mastered the basics.
